Situation Analysis
The scale and complexity of the company’s global operations, combined with a significant capital investment program, created a need to further strengthen financial planning, performance visibility and decision support. Within a highly asset-intensive operating environment, the company sought to elevate its FP&A capabilities to improve forecasting, drive greater consistency and provide stronger insight into capital allocation and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
The Division Head of Global FP&A leads financial planning and analysis for a $3 billion global division, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and performance management across its operating portfolio. Working closely with senior executives and operational leaders, this executive drives a multi-year FP&A strategy, advances data analytics and deploys modern financial technologies. The role serves as a strategic advisor on major investments, capital allocation and business performance.
Successful Placement
Our placement is an experienced finance leader with more than 15 years of experience directing financial planning and analysis across large multinational organizations. Most recently, they led FP&A for a major region of a global logistics enterprise, partnering with executive and operational leadership and owning budgeting, forecasting and performance management across multiple business units. Earlier roles within manufacturing and industrial businesses provided deep experience in asset-intensive, multi-site environments, including pricing strategy, investment analysis and large-scale systems implementation.
