POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Information Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and serve as the senior technology executive responsible for enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation, data and analytics, cybersecurity and technology operations across a leading food distribution platform. This executive will lead the modernization of core systems and infrastructure while advancing enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities that improve operational performance, commercial effectiveness and decision-making across distribution, supply chain and customer-facing functions. The role carries significant enterprise impact through development of a scalable technology ecosystem, transformation of the technology organization into a strategic business partner and alignment of technology investments with long-term growth and operational objectives.
The ideal candidate brings significant CIO, divisional CIO or senior technology leadership experience within distribution, logistics, supply chain, consumer products, manufacturing or similarly complex operating environments. This leader combines deep expertise in enterprise technology, digital transformation, data strategy and cybersecurity with a proven track record of modernizing legacy environments while maintaining operational continuity. Strong business acumen, executive presence and cross-functional influence are essential, along with a leadership style grounded in accountability, intellectual curiosity and a commitment to building high-performing teams that deliver measurable business value.
