Position Summary
The Vice President of Supply Chain is a strategic executive responsible for designing and executing a forward-looking supply chain and procurement strategy that drives operational excellence across planning, sourcing, production, and logistics. The Vice President has direct leadership responsibility for teams across procurement, planning, materials, scheduling, and logistics. This leader will oversee master production scheduling, supplier performance management, and inventory optimization to ensure cost efficiency, quality and service reliability. By embedding advanced analytics, AI-powered tools and disciplined SIOP practices, the Vice President will align demand, supply, and financial outcomes while fostering a culture of agility, accountability and continuous improvement.
Our placement brings more than 20 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience across complex consumer packaged goods and food manufacturing environments. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Procurement, Planning and Quality for a rapidly growing specialty food distributor, where he led sourcing, supply planning, inventory management, import operations and quality across a global supplier base spanning more than 30 countries. His background includes senior leadership roles overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, planning, scheduling, logistics and facilities with responsibility for large-scale planning organizations and direct spend exceeding $150M. Known for strengthening operational discipline, he has built integrated planning organizations, implemented S&OP processes, improved data integrity and aligned cross-functional teams around a common operating cadence. A practical and collaborative leader, he combines strong systems thinking with hands-on execution to deliver improved service levels, cost efficiency and scalable supply chain infrastructure in fast-growing environments.
