The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will hold enterprise-wide responsibility for global operations including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality, reliability, and environmental health and safety. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with other executive leaders, the COO will develop and execute scalable operational strategies to support growth, innovation, and global expansion. This role demands driving operational excellence across a highly automated, multi-geography manufacturing footprint, focusing on improving throughput, quality, cost competitiveness, and long-term supply chain resilience. Additionally, the COO will serve as a strategic partner influencing capital investments, technology commercialization, digital transformation, workforce development, and board-level engagement.
The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of progressive leadership experience in operations and supply chain within complex, global, and highly automated manufacturing environments, preferably involving advanced technologies like semiconductor or specialty materials. This executive will have a proven track record of translating strategy into measurable results across multi-site operations, with deep expertise in the intersection of operations, supply chain, and technology to drive financial performance. Strong financial acumen, hands-on leadership, and executive presence are essential, along with demonstrated success in implementing advanced manufacturing practices such as automation, AI integration, and continuous improvement. A collaborative mindset and cultural fit emphasizing humility, purpose-driven leadership, and accountability are critical for sustained impact.
