Position Summary:
The Vice President, Product Line Management, reporting directly to the CEO, is pivotal in chartering the trajectory and strategy of the company’s product offerings and thus steering the direction of the business’ growth. This position will need to bring together customer and competitor insights as well as input from leaders across the business to develop a strategic roadmap for each product category. This may involve go-to-market strategy, pricing, product development, delivery model and other types of decisions that impact how a product is purchased and delivered to the customer. This role and their team will also be responsible for bringing these roadmaps to life through a disciplined and cross-functional new product launch and management processes that will be overseen by the Product Line Manager with the inputs and assistance of the engineering, sales, and operations teams among others.
Our placement is a seasoned product management leader with experience in industrial manufacturing. In his most recent role, he successfully grew the electric motor business from $630 million to $750 million during his three years. He has delivered significant growth via customer-focused product strategy, focused go-to-market plan, and Sales & Operational strategies to meet customer needs and adapt to a shifting industry-landscape. He has an impressive track record of being able to influence executive decisions, build partnerships, lead high-performing teams and execute relentlessly.
