POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Vice President, Chief Risk & Credit Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, overseeing enterprise risk management and the full credit lifecycle across a diversified banking platform. This executive will own credit quality, portfolio performance and risk governance, with responsibility for underwriting standards, portfolio management, regulatory compliance and enterprise risk frameworks. The role carries significant impact through alignment of risk and growth objectives, enhancement of credit infrastructure and leadership of a disciplined risk culture that supports sustainable growth across commercial and consumer lending portfolios.
Our placement brings more than 25 years of progressive credit and banking leadership experience within regional and national financial institutions. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of a publicly traded banking platform, where he led enterprise credit strategy, underwriting standards and portfolio performance across a diversified loan portfolio. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Executive Credit Officer for a high-growth regional bank, partnering closely with executive leadership to guide credit strategy, portfolio construction and risk oversight during a period of expansion and elevated M&A activity. He spent more than two decades with a leading regional institution, advancing through senior leadership roles including Chief Administrative Officer for Commercial Banking and Director of Middle Market Banking. Across his career, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to balance risk and growth, working effectively with regulators, boards and executive teams. A thoughtful and steady leader, he combines deep technical credit expertise with enterprise perspective, focused on building durable, well-governed platforms positioned for long-term success.
