Position Summary:
The Chief Procurement Officer, reporting directly to the CEO, will lead the Company’s procurement strategy assessing current practices, devising improvements and executing an action plan for integration and enhancement. They will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of materials and managing departmental performance. Ultimately, this person will be a key enabler for the company to unlock best-in-class supplier selection and management to generate improved profit margins and enable growth in new sales.
Our placement comes with over 20 years of experience in the procurement function. In his most recent role as Vice President of Purchasing, he doubled the organizations revenue across three years, growing it from $26 million to over $40 million. He has a proven track record of exceeding cost-saving goals and successfully negotiating multi-million dollar contracts. He has experience in diverse industries including transportation, manufacturing and automotive, and provides a broad perspective that can benefit procurement strategies across various sectors.
