Position Summary:
The Chief Accounting Officer, reporting directly to the COO & CFO, will oversee corporate accounting, financial consolidation, reporting, policy and external reporting throughout the company to drive operational efficiency and deliver timely and accurate financial information to appropriate internal and external constituencies. This role will also be responsible for ensuring an effective system of internal controls operates globally including SOX compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of accounting and finance experience, with the last five years in senior finance/controllership roles, at either the corporate or large divisional level. They must have experience with external reporting and with large, global retail companies. A proven ability to move a team to world-class levels of performance is highly desired. Early work experience in public accounting and a CPA are required.
