The Vice President of Operations will lead all aspects of the company’s manufacturing and operational activities, ensuring products are produced on schedule, meet quality standards, and achieve organizational profit objectives. Key responsibilities include driving operational performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, leading a complex multi-shift operation, and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, productivity, and overall value creation.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 15 years of experience in food manufacturing, with a proven track record leading single or multi-site operations. They will have demonstrated the ability to develop and execute manufacturing strategies, understand operational and supply chain impacts on financial performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, team-building skills, and a hands-on approach to driving operational excellence across production, quality, safety, maintenance, and logistics are essential. Experience in scientifically driven food sectors, such as dairy, bakery, or pharmaceuticals, is a plus.
