Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Sales is a critical member of the Leadership team, accountable for developing the sales strategy and driving growth, profitability and key strategic selling initiatives in multiple channels for the organization. Major areas of responsibility include sales and customer strategy, sales execution, trade marketing, sales planning and operations, category management, and customer penetration. In addition, they will add value to the development and execution of the company’s product vision and portfolio. This individual is expected to be a full executive team member, providing their input on all relevant business matters, not just those associated with the sales function.
 

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales professional with strong strategic skills and a clear record of delivering results in a “best in class” food organization. They should have significant work experience in the food industry, having exposure to multiple channels including retail, foodservice, and other B2B channels. This individual will have strong commercial and business savvy, understand how to strategically leverage customer relationships and be well-versed in the fundamentals and importance of trade and channel strategy, sales force optimization, and shopper insights. They should have strong leadership, exceptional relationship-building, and influencing skills. Experience working in a growing, entrepreneurial business is preferred.
