Position Summary:
The President & Chief Operating Officer will serve as the transformational leader of the Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Human Resources teams for the organization. Their primary goal is to partner with the Chief Executive Officer and other senior management in understanding and managing the strategic growth, culture and financial opportunities facing the organization as the industry and routes to market evolve over time. This individual will develop a strategic roadmap which honors both the organizational history and significantly improves company go-to-market strategy, operating effectiveness, and drives growth.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years relevant experience, with at least 10 years leading a commercial organization, preferably in a consumer-packaged goods organization. Experience in a heavily regulated industry is a plus. Ideally, the President & Chief Operating Officer will have strong general management capabilities, excellent business acumen, and the capabilities to be a successor to the Chief Executive Officer.
