POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operating Partner will serve as a senior value creation leader within a middle-market private equity platform, working closely with the investment team and portfolio company leadership to drive operational improvement, growth initiatives, and acquisition execution. Reporting to the firm’s leadership team, this executive partners directly with CEOs to translate investment theses into actionable strategies, strengthen operating discipline, and accelerate performance across people, process, and technology. The role is highly hands-on and externally facing, supporting new platform and add-on acquisitions from diligence through integration, while helping portfolio companies scale organically and inorganically. This position is based at the firm’s headquarters and requires significant travel to portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of senior operating leadership experience, including time as a CEO, President, or divisional leader with full P&L accountability in manufacturing, distribution, or services environments. This individual has a proven track record of driving meaningful value creation through operational excellence, strategic planning, and M&A execution within private equity-owned or mid-market businesses. They combine strong commercial and financial acumen with a collaborative, low-ego leadership style, influencing through coaching rather than direct control. Experience supporting multiple portfolio companies, leading diligence and integrations, and building high-performing management teams is essential.
