$2 Billion Food Production Client
The Head of Procurement will develop and carry out strategies, policies, and procedures for the procurement of Direct and Indirect Goods and Services for the organization. This position manages a spend of $500+ million and a Corporate Procurement Team of approximately 35 individuals. The new executive will establish strong relationships with vendors, facilitate communication between all sections of the company, and work to ensure production and delivery targets are met. This role will also direct efforts to improve supply chain efficiency and maintain product quality standards along with a key element of developing and implementing productivity and cost savings projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Procurement leadership with more than five years at the Director, Senior Director, or Vice President Level. This executive should have strong knowledge and experience in sourcing commodities, ingredients, packaging and contract/external manufacturing with food industry leaders.
