POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Financial Officer will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer and serve as a key architect of the organization’s enterprise transformation, leading financial strategy, actuarial oversight, capital allocation and long-term value creation across a complex, highly regulated health plan. This executive will oversee finance, accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, investments and the actuarial function while embedding financial discipline into product economics, affordability, pricing strategy, medical trend management and enterprise decision making. The role carries significant enterprise impact through strengthening financial performance, advancing transformation initiatives, optimizing capital deployment and building the financial capabilities required to support sustainable growth, operational resilience and long-term member value.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least five years as Chief Financial Officer within a health insurance organization. This leader combines deep expertise in health plan economics, actuarial partnership, financial planning, capital management, investment oversight and regulatory compliance with a proven track record of leading enterprise transformation in complex, payer-side environments. Experience partnering with boards, regulators, auditors and government stakeholders is essential, along with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style that balances strategic vision, operational rigor and disciplined execution while developing high-performing finance and actuarial teams.
