Position Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, The Chief Actuary will be responsible and accountable for the daily operations associated with our clients Actuarial Services Department.
Provide leadership in development of strategic initiatives, product development, pricing, rate filings, trend analysis, forecasting, reserving, data management and analytics for all product lines.
Oversee the analytic function for hospital provider contracting for the Provider Network Management Department, and support in development of related databases.
- Support the Medicare bid process, audit of consultants work, independent derivation of projection assumptions and proforma financials, product price testing, and transition of process work from consulting to in-house as deemed necessary.
