Position Summary:
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will develop strategies, organize and direct the delivery of all required clinical services to members to improve the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
The CMO is responsible for overall success of the company and works closely with all divisions and departments within the organization to provide clinical consultation and support with regard to program development, compliance with accepted medical standards, and practitioner/provider education. The successful candidate will play an important role in overall corporate planning and strategic positioning at the most senior level.
The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in Clinical Practice of medicine and 7 to 10 years of experience in medical management activities.
