POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President, Research & Development (R&D) will lead enterprise-wide innovation, product development and technical strategy with accountability for advancing a scalable pipeline and delivering commercial outcomes. This executive will operate as a senior cross-functional partner, aligning closely with Commercial, Quality and Regulatory leaders to integrate business priorities into R&D platforms and accelerate speed to market. The role carries broad organizational impact through oversight of global R&D capabilities, operating model design, and resource allocation, while elevating technical rigor, standardization, and end-to-end development across a complex, multi-category portfolio.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of R&D leadership experience within a large, multi-category environment, including ownership of innovation functions supporting a billion-dollar business or division. This leader combines deep scientific credibility with strong commercial instincts, translating consumer and technical insights into differentiated products and margin expansion. Experience spanning Quality and Regulatory is highly valued, along with success leading global teams in matrixed organizations and navigating transformation.
