POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Personal Lines will report to the Chief Underwriting Officer and lead the full personal lines business with P&L accountability across auto, homeowners, umbrella and related products. This executive will own the multi-year operating plan, including premium growth, loss ratio, expense management and overall combined ratio performance, while leading a cross-functional organization spanning underwriting, product, pricing, filings, operations and analytics. The role carries broad responsibility across product strategy, pricing, distribution and catastrophe governance, with a clear mandate to drive profitable growth and enhance portfolio performance.
The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of progressive personal lines experience, including direct P&L ownership and a track record of improving results while scaling the business across multiple states. Deep expertise in product, pricing, filings and distribution is essential, along with strong independent agency market experience. This leader should bring a balance of strategic perspective and hands-on execution, with the ability to lead change, align cross-functional teams and build a high-performing organization.
