Situation Analysis
Recently, our client set out to move from a federated, product-aligned structure toward a centralized and scalable operating model. That shift responded to evolving market demands, the pursuit of greater efficiency and ambitious growth targets. The path forward called for a dedicated service delivery and operations function to support an expanding product portfolio. Establishing that capability was central to standardizing processes across diverse lines, improving service delivery and driving profitable growth in line with strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
The Vice President of Operations leads the design and implementation of a scalable, multi-product operating model, standardizing processes, service standards and performance indicators across product lines. This executive oversees end-to-end policy operations, ensuring timely and accurate policy administration while optimizing workflows. The position also carries responsibility for premium accounting accuracy, regulatory compliance and effective governance of third-party partners. Alongside this, it drives data-driven performance management, champions continuous improvement and builds a capable operations team to support underwriting and distribution efforts.
Successful Placement
Our placement is an insurance operations leader with more than a decade of experience across underwriting support and claims operations in specialty and delegated-authority environments. In prior roles they built and developed capable teams while improving workflow efficiency, capacity planning and service quality for brokers and partners through disciplined execution. They brought a consistent record of standardizing processes and reinforcing accuracy across insurance operations, together with exposure to managing-general-underwriter and specialty-market operating models.
