POSITION SUMMARY
The President & Chief Executive Officer will lead the overall strategic and operational performance of a large scale milling enterprise, reporting to a governing state commission. This executive will be responsible for defining and executing the organization’s strategic direction while ensuring strong financial performance, operational reliability and customer service excellence. The role oversees all aspects of the business including production operations, grain procurement, sales, transportation, quality and technical services while guiding a senior executive leadership team. The President & CEO will also represent the enterprise with key stakeholders, suppliers and customers while ensuring alignment with legislative priorities and long term capital investment plans.
The ideal candidate will bring significant executive leadership experience within milling, food processing or related manufacturing industries along with a proven track record of driving growth and operational performance in complex organizations. This leader will possess strong expertise in value added food product markets, grain procurement and risk management strategies including inventory and futures hedging. The successful executive combines strategic vision with disciplined operational oversight and the ability to build strong partnerships with employees industry stakeholders and public sector leaders. Additionally, this individual will demonstrate exceptional integrity, strong communication skills and the leadership presence required to guide a large unionized workforce while delivering long term value for the organization and its stakeholders.
