Position Summary:
The President & Chief Executive Officer will lead the business through its recent ownership transition from a 2nd generation family business to an institutionally-backed company with an accelerated focus on growth and market expansion. They will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including but not limited to establishing a culture of trust and accountability, executing a vision and strategy for growth, managing key relationships, overseeing marketing, sales, product development, customer service, operations and leading the management team.
The ideal candidate should have 15 years of experience in distribution and/or manufacturing, including significant time managing standalone P&L responsibilities. They should have a proven track record of driving revenue and earnings growth through strategic planning and execution, with expertise in product development, sales, and marketing. Relationship-building skills, outstanding leadership qualities, strong financial comprehension, and exceptional communication skills are essential. Experience in value-added distribution, light manufacturing, and/or private equity backed environments is a plus.
