Position Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer will lead day-to-day operations, participate in establishing strategic direction for the company, and oversee the implementation of strategy through high-level leadership.
The Chief Operating Officer will work with and support team members to ensure company-wide initiatives and policies are implemented and followed, work in conjunction with the CEO and CFO to set annual plans for operating functions and measure performance of these goals, ensure the talent pipeline is developed within each operating function to feed long-term needs of the organization.
The successful candidate has at least 20 years of experience, of which the last 5 have been as a Chief Operating Officer or Chief Supply Chain Officer for a business of at least $1 billion. This person will have significant work experience at a highly regarded mainstream food or CPG company.
