Position Summary
The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Directors and lead the company through its next phase of growth. They will build on a differentiated, high-touch service model and recent investments in acquisitions and distribution capacity to significantly scale revenue and profitability. The executive will develop and execute a strategic growth plan and strengthen sales execution and customer penetration. They will also build greater operating rigor through disciplined budgeting, forecasting and performance management. The role involves leading and developing the executive team and serving as a visible ambassador with customers and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will be a proven, hands-on business leader with full P&L experience driving profitable growth in broadline food distribution or a highly relevant foodservice distribution environment. While prior CEO experience is not required, this individual will have led a meaningful business, division or operating unit. They will bring strong commercial instincts and a track record of building sales organizations, along with experience instilling accountability and discipline in an entrepreneurial environment. This candidate will be a true player-coach who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves without extensive corporate infrastructure and can thoughtfully lead a legacy organization through significant change.
