Position Summary:
The Head of Blockchain is responsible for providing the leadership for the strategy and architecture of the blockchain initiatives for the organization. The Head of Blockchain will define and execute the technology strategy and architecture to drive the development of additional revenue streams for the platform, while also supporting deposit and loan growth along with other complementary blockchain based service offerings.
This executive will take command of the blockchain road map already in development and execute the plan, while also enhancing the roadmap by bringing in a forward thinking and experience set to bring the platform to life. This role partners closely with both the technology teams and business heads to drive cohesive business initiatives deeply rooted in blockchain technology.
Our placement held C-level positions at venture-backed blockchain companies and was a Finance professor in blockchain. He has lectured at MIT, Northeastern University and the CFA Institute. Earlier in his career, he was a key leader in blockchain projects at PwC, advised the U.S. Intelligence Community on national security risks associated with cryptocurrencies and was named an MIT Sloan Fellow in Innovation and Global Leadership.
