Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence will lead the development and scaling of the operational capabilities required to support continued growth across a large, distributed food distribution network. Reporting to the COO, this executive will own network design and optimization, industrial engineering, automation, Lean and continuous improvement, workforce planning and operational performance. The role will combine long range network and capacity planning with hands on execution, establishing the tools, processes and talent needed to drive measurable gains in productivity, service, capacity and cost.
The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of progressive operations, supply chain or industrial engineering leadership experience, including significant experience in high volume distribution, logistics or food and consumer products environments. They will have demonstrated success leading multi -site network optimization, Lean Six Sigma, automation and robotics, workforce planning and labor productivity initiatives, with strong quantitative and financial acumen. Experience in food, perishable or regulated distribution and fast growth environments is highly valued. The successful candidate will be a strategic systems thinker who can operate at the executive level while remaining hands on in distribution centers, building teams and driving transformation through influence and disciplined execution.
