The Head of Risk Management will report to the Chief Financial Officer and lead the development and execution of enterprise risk management programs across a growing construction organization. This executive will oversee insurance strategy, claims management, contractual risk mitigation and subcontractor compliance while serving as the company’s primary resource for risk-related matters. The role carries significant enterprise impact through optimization of insurance programs, strengthening of contractual risk transfer practices and partnership with operational leadership to identify, assess and mitigate project and business risks that support successful project execution and long-term organizational performance.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance administration, claims management, contract review or related disciplines, preferably within the construction industry. This leader combines deep expertise in commercial insurance, contractual risk transfer, claims administration and compliance with a track record of partnering effectively with operational leaders to reduce risk and improve business outcomes. Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills are essential, along with a collaborative leadership style that builds trust, develops talent and influences stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
