Position Summary:
This executive will lead all of the warehouse and distribution functions, including 30,000 staff for the company across North America, Europe, and the Caribbean.
The Vice President, Field Operations will develop and implement standardized tools, processes and methodologies for enhancing warehousing and transportation productivity and capital efficiency. This team will further refine processes with the goal of improving service and reducing costs.
Given the transformative nature of this role, the executive will spend significant time with their direct reports, in the regions, setting the foundation for operational knowledge. An intense effort will be required in setting standards, building capabilities, and then instilling a continuous improvement philosophy.
