Our client is a large not-for-profit health and well-being organization serving a substantial membership base through a portfolio of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial health insurance products. The organization operates with a mission centered on equitable, affordable and high-quality care, and includes a third-party administration subsidiary serving self-funded employer clients on a national basis. |
A not-for-profit health plan’s third-party administration subsidiary underwent significant transformation following more than a decade of rapid growth and geographic expansion driven by strategic acquisition. That expansion created the need for a dedicated senior leader capable of integrating acquired operations, aligning organizational culture and establishing the infrastructure required to support a national client base while preserving the service standards on which the business had built its reputation.
The President holds full P&L accountability for the subsidiary and its business units, reporting to the parent organization’s senior commercial leadership and the Board. The role carries responsibility for professionalizing operations for scale while preserving client-centric responsiveness, delivering operational stabilization and driving sustainable growth and revenue diversification. Key areas of focus include acquisition integration, multi-year strategic planning, rebuilding distribution partner confidence, digital transformation and technology investment, capital allocation with rigorous ROI accountability and the development of leadership teams to support continued national expansion.
Our placement brings nearly 30 years of executive leadership experience across healthcare administration, insurance and healthcare services platforms. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of a private equity-backed integrated health plan and TPA organization where he led operational transformation and enterprise growth that scaled revenue threefold while expanding the platform into a national claims-paying operation. His career reflects a consistent record of operational modernization, profitability improvement, strategic acquisition execution and the development of scalable organizations across complex healthcare environments. Earlier senior executive experience includes leadership of large-scale operations and multi-entity healthcare businesses within a major regional Blue Cross Blue Shield plan and a national surgical services platform.
