A publicly traded global manufacturer experienced significant growth through acquisitions, portfolio expansion, and increasing operational complexity across its manufacturing network. As the organization continued to scale, leadership identified the need for a centralized engineering executive to drive consistency across facilities, optimize capital investments, advance reliability programs, and support long-term operational and sustainability objectives.
The Head of Global Engineering is responsible for developing and executing an enterprise-wide engineering strategy aligned with business and supply chain priorities. The role serves as the senior engineering leader overseeing capital planning, asset reliability, maintenance excellence, and operational performance across multiple manufacturing sites. Key responsibilities include standardizing engineering and maintenance practices, advancing safety and sustainability initiatives, optimizing capital and operating expenditures, and partnering with Operations and Innovation teams to successfully commercialize new technologies and manufacturing processes.
Our placement brought more than two decades of engineering and operations leadership experience within complex, multi-site manufacturing organizations. Most recently, he led engineering strategy and execution across a network of production facilities for a leading food and consumer products manufacturer, overseeing capital projects, infrastructure modernization, process improvements and operational excellence initiatives. His background includes leadership of large-scale capital investment programs, implementation of reliability and continuous improvement frameworks and management of engineering organizations across domestic and international manufacturing operations. Throughout his career, he has successfully driven productivity improvements, enhanced operational performance and established standardized engineering practices across geographically dispersed manufacturing networks.
