Position Summary
The General Counsel plays a crucial role in representing the company, offering comprehensive legal advice and counsel on all areas of the urgent care operations. Responsibilities include addressing compliance and legal gaps, developing processes, and gaining a deep understanding of the organization’s strengths and weaknesses. They will handle legal matters in healthcare, including contract negotiations, policy development, and managing various transactions.
Successful Placement
Our placement has over 15 years of experience in the legal and regulatory field. He most recently served as the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer for an orthopedic healthcare services organization providing legal counsel and strategic guidance to the Board of Directors, C-Suite and management team. He was responsible for internal compliance activities of all service lines and departments, including orthopedic urgent care, physical therapy, imaging, lab, and DME. He also managed all litigation and regulatory matters, including outside counsel relationships, and oversaw six M&A transactions.
