Position Summary:
The Controller, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, will lead a three-person team responsible for all financial reporting and accounting operations. This individual will play a key leadership role in strengthening financial processes, implementing best practices, and supporting strategic decision-making across a multi-state real estate portfolio. The role will work closely with executive leadership to ensure rigorous financial standards, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive continued operational improvements.
The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including leadership roles in mid-to-large organizations, with a strong track record in financial strategy, reporting, and team development. Real estate industry experience is essential, along with the ability to operate with both strategic insight and hands-on execution. Strong communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence key stakeholders are critical.
