Position Summary:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will report directly to the CEO and will serve as a member of the company’s Operating Council, responsible for shaping innovation strategy and leading the Corporate Research & Development organization. The CTO will drive innovation and provide vision and guidance for the development of the next generation of specialty products and solutions, translating strategies into long-term, sustainable commercial success and business growth through collaboration with the Business Units and global cross-functional teams.
The CTO will influence technical and architectural aspects of the company’s innovation decisions, continuously advancing and leveraging global R&D capabilities and tools to improve operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will have 15+ years in technical leadership positions, preferably in polymer science. This executive will have a demonstrated track record of success within a complex and multi-category global company.
