The Chief Supply Chain Officer is a newly recreated executive role that reports directly to the CEO and will lead the end-to-end global supply chain including manufacturing operations across 20+ sites in North America, Mexico, and Europe, procurement with over 1,300 suppliers, logistics, planning, quality, safety, and operational excellence for an organization of several thousand employees.
We were seeking a leader who brings 20+ years of progressive supply chain leadership including 10+ years in senior executive roles within multi-billion-dollar global industrial or technology companies, with demonstrated expertise in complex multi-site manufacturing networks, footprint optimization, M&A integration, Lean and continuous improvement at scale, and proven ability to build high-performing diverse teams. This leader must be able to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, partnering closely with business unit leaders and the executive team to drive operational excellence, enable innovation, and position supply chain as a core enabler of the company’s ambitious growth agenda.
Our placement most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain for a major, and well respected, global manufacturing company’s $10 billion division, leading 22 manufacturing plants worldwide, over 1,300 suppliers, $4 billion in spend and approximately 4,500 employees while reporting to the P&L leader. With over 20 years progressive supply chain and operations leadership experience, this leader has delivered substantial results including major inventory reductions, significant improvements in on-time delivery, hundreds of millions in productivity gains and successful tariff mitigation strategies. This leader’s career spans plant management roles at major industrial manufacturers where they turned around underperforming facilities, led a major acquisition integration delivering $86 million in synergies, successfully navigated COVID operational challenges without shutdowns and implemented lean manufacturing and World Class Manufacturing methodologies. Known for a direct, data-driven, hands-on leadership style focused on operational excellence and talent development, they have consistently transformed struggling operations through structural realignment, process rigor, and cultural change.
