Position Summary:
The Chief Research & Development Officer is responsible for leading the Global R&D strategy, vision, and day-to-day leadership for current renovation and breakthrough innovation. The executive is expected to maintain and develop a leading a world-class high performing R&D team.
The executive will be part of the Executive Leadership team and will lead a team of over 700 with R&D centers in the United States, Mexico, UK, Belgium, Egypt, Nigeria, India, South Africa, Japan, China, Singapore, Korea and Australia.
The successful candidate will currently be leading a well-regarded, global R&D function for a major consumer products company. Previous international experience, preferably living outside of the US, is highly desired as is deep experience with emerging markets.
