Large Health Care Provider
Position Summary:
The Chief Operations Officer, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, will be responsible for overseeing the administrative, operational, and clinical support of 55 Urgent Care Centers and hybrid clinics across North Carolina. This pivotal role involves managing the Regional Directors of Operations and actively participating in the development and execution of strategic plans, market objectives, and initiatives. This role will collaborate directly with leadership, providers, corporate resources, and partners to ensure high-quality care, exceptional service, and achievement of financial objectives.
Our placement has over 15 years of experience in respected healthcare services businesses, primarily working in hospital administration with a specialization in Ambulatory Care and operations management. He most recently served as President of Operations where he had full medical group accountability for P&L, strategic planning, strategic partnerships, contracting, market development, physician recruitment, practice operations, finance, revenue cycle, quality, patient safety, legal, risk compliance, human resources and information systems. He had oversight of more than 150 board-certified physicians, 40 mid-level providers and over 500 clinical support staff in over 20 specialties providing patients with services ranging from primary care, pediatrics, medical and surgical sub-specialties.
