Position Summary:

The Chief Actuary is responsible for the daily operations associated with the company’s actuarial function and will lead the company’s product and pricing strategy. They will provide overall direction relative to the development, application, and consistent administration of actuarial principles and statistical techniques to ensure sound financials.

 

The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing processes, controls, and reports in order to coordinate and monitor the linkages between the execution of actuarial services (pricing and trend analysis), financial planning, and underwriting execution.

 

The successful candidate will possess 10 years of progressive industry experience in actuarial areas and seven years of management experience. They will have demonstrated the ability to work effectively and to collaborate closely with executive leadership to coordinate activities of the company and to achieve enterprise goals.
