POSITION SUMMARY

The Head of Commercial & Community Banking will report to the Chief Banking Officer and lead the strategy, growth and profitability of the bank’s community and small to mid size business portfolios. This executive will oversee Branch Banking, Community and Small Business Banking, SBA Lending, technology enabled lending and Private Client Banking, serving companies up to $20M in revenue with loans up to $10M. With full P&L responsibility, this leader will drive loan and deposit growth while transforming the segment into a technology enabled, low touch operating model that enhances efficiency, scalability and client experience. The role requires close collaboration across national business lines to ensure strong credit quality, regulatory compliance and sustained financial performance.

The ideal candidate will bring 15 or more years of progressive banking leadership experience, with deep expertise in commercial credit, loan structuring and deposit operations and treasury management. They will demonstrate a proven track record of leading diverse commercial sales teams, optimizing lending operations and implementing scalable systems that drive growth and operational excellence. This leader will combine strategic vision with hands on execution, reshaping teams where needed while building on existing strengths to execute a clear forward looking roadmap. Strong executive presence, regulatory fluency and the ability to influence across a complex organization are essential to delivering consistent high quality financial results.
