Bill Morris is the Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Slayton Search Partners, overseeing the firm’s Finance, Accounting, Technology, and administrative operations. He leads all financial strategy, planning and reporting functions and is responsible for the design and execution of the firm’s technology strategy, ensuring operational efficiency and long-term scalability.
Bill’s career has been shaped by roles in fast-paced and evolving environments, where his ability to take on a wide range of responsibilities has delivered significant value. He has played key leadership roles in start-ups, spin-offs, turnarounds, and high-growth companies, consistently overseeing finance, technology, and operations. His background includes experience with both publicly traded and privately held businesses.
Before joining Slayton, Bill led a privately held healthcare-focused recruiting and staffing company. He began his career in public accounting at KPMG.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive license) and a member of the Illinois CPA Society.
