Position Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for planning, directing, evaluating, and controlling all aspects of the organization’s financial functions. The successful candidate will assume a strategic role, especially in strengthening financial and risk management capabilities. The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a credible, knowledgeable, and trusted resource to the Chief Executive Officer and must be a transformational leader who will partner with the CEO, and the senior leadership team, to offer quality, meaningful analyses and financial perspectives necessary for driving corporate decisions and impacting the future growth and development of the organization. The Chief Financial Officer will also be considered a succession candidate to the Chief Executive Officer.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 or more years of individual life insurance with at least ten years of experience in a senior finance leadership position. A currently sitting CFO of an individual life insurance carrier or the head of finance of individual life business in a larger, multi-line insurance carrier unit is highly preferred.
