The Chief Claims Officer will be a highly visible executive leader focused on driving change and transformation across the claims function. The Chief Claims Officer will be a change agent accountable for contributing to the future success of the company while strategically directing a team of 1,300 employees.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 to 20 years of increasing levels of responsibility and achievement in Claims leadership roles in either Commercial or Specialty insurance lines. He/she will have the ability to establish broad leadership credibility and act as an inspirational leader who possesses outstanding people relations skills, and yet be results-focused. The successful candidate will be recognized for successfully mentoring and developing team members, and executing a sound talent development strategy. He/she will have spent significant time during his/her career at large, complex companies where “managing the matrix” is required for success.
