The Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) will serve as the enterprise architect of the company’s digital insurance platform and AI automation ecosystem. This executive will design, build and operate a cloud native technology stack supporting underwriting, policy administration, claims, billing and embedded distribution while translating actuarial intelligence and risk models into scalable production grade software. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CAIO will lead enterprise AI strategy, enabling real time decisioning, straight through processing and seamless digital customer experiences. The role carries full accountability for AI roadmap execution, digital product strategy, API architecture, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology governance and investment discipline to ensure secure, resilient and future ready operations.
The ideal candidate will bring 10 or more years of experience in AI engineering, software development, enterprise architecture or digital transformation with a proven track record of building or scaling a digital insurance or InsurTech platform. They will possess deep expertise in AI and machine learning orchestration, cloud native architecture, microservices and API first design, real-time systems engineering and production AI deployment along with at least five years of senior leadership experience in a regulated financial services or insurance environment. This leader will combine technical depth with executive presence, translating complex AI architecture and automation strategy into clear business outcomes for senior stakeholders and the board. Highly collaborative and operationally disciplined, the successful candidate will drive multi-year AI transformation initiatives while building a high performing technology and digital organization aligned to enterprise growth objectives.
